I just got a notification, I’m soon to interview for the last job I will ever need to get and where I will retire. This isn’t just the next job on the way up the ladder, but, this is seriously for the top career position possible for me. This was unexpected and much sooner than I thought it would be. There are prep companies for the specific occupation I have and they will greatly help. I have some time to get ready. Hopefully, I can get this for my family and give them evverything they need - I can also get a decent retirement out of this...finally.

Can’t say yet. Not trying to be mysterious or rude, I just literally shouldn’t say for who or what due to the internet lurking of anyone there. Not until I get that job.

Good luck! Since I assume you're interviewing for one of NASAs astronaut positions, I'd like to request you send me a Mars rock when you get back.

Start practicing your full windsor!
Not everyone notices the little things like that, and may be totally inappropriate for your industry/profession (for my last job interview I was told to ABSOLUTELY NOT show up in a suit, which was a first for me, but it was for a design team, so I guess that made sense).
But there are people who DO notice, and the attention to detail will only help you out. Even the people who don’t notice will notice, even if they can’t put their finger on it.
You’ve got this!

777 Captain?
I know a woman who is a 777 Captain at 31, but it’s cargo, so maybe don’t do that.

Or send it FedEx when you get there. They’ve got a location open already I believe.

It’s all about the Half. The full looks awkwardly large on most people.

Depends on the thickness of the tie. I’ve got a couple that you have to go full on because the half is way too small (see above pic!). OTOH, I have some thicker ties where the full would look way too big, even with a spread collar.

Very much depends on the tie. Old school polyester ties? Super huge. Any modern silk tie? Looks great.
After I started watching Suits I decided to give a full a try. Not really bulkier than the half I’d been doing.
Either way, you’re far better off with either a half or full Windsor than with the lopsided slipknot the guy in the picture above is wearing. Makes you look like an awkward teenager.

Used to do the Double Windsor at all times, every time. That’s kinda on the outs. I do have a killer tie though.

No kidding right? It’s like a failure is letting my whole families future and education down. Kinda sucks.

Eat a light easily digestible dinner the night before. Easy on the alcohol but a glass of wine is ok. Sleep well, get rest. Wake up early and go for a brisk walk, go home and shower.
Breakfast - Nothing greasy but have some protein, coffee, juice and water - take a dump.
Grooming: Haircut, clean shaven, pressed suit and crisp white shirt. Nice silk tie. Dark socks, shined shoes. Trimmed nails and clean hands. Trim ear and nose hair.Clean teeth, floss and mouthwash.
Prep: Elevator speech, highlights of career, answers to 10 trickiest interview questions (look it up) and questions about job. Relax, breathe, meditate.
During interview: Firm handshake, smile, polite greeting. Relax but listen to the questions, ask a few questions and be willing to have a conversation.
Realize this was meant to be - you got this.
